An analyst is a person who is skilled at analyzing data. He or she examines business from different prospective and identifies various business problems and provides solution to those problems. They study financial data related to credit, securities, sales or financial patterns and recommends appropriate business actions.

1. What roles and responsibilities that you have undertaken in your previous organization?
I have handsome experience in this field. In my previous organization I was also involved in writing test plans and test cases of the business process or application. I was also involved in various activities of the project such as information gathering, analyzing the information, documenting the functional and business requirements. I used to deliver analysis reports on market segments, competitors or investment opportunities to the upper management.
2. Can you please elaborate about your technical and non technical skills?
Well, in my entire career up till now I have worked on MS word, power point, outlook, access, adobe acrobat, Siebel 6.0 and Visio. I am also familiar with various tools such as OOD Basic. I have exceptional communicational, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. I have brilliant knowledge of project management, operation management, business analysis, business modeling, and data modeling.
3. Please tell us something about your academic qualification?
It is a very simple question through which an employer wants to check your academic background. Just mention your college or university name. Make sure that your answers should be clear, factual and not ambiguous. You can say that – I have done masters in business administration from a well known college.
4. There are so many other applicants for this post. Why should we select you for this post?
I am the right person for this job. I will bring to your organization my technical know-how as well as my functional expertise which will bring success to your organization.
5. Why did you leave your last job?
Keep in mind that an employer will never choose a spiteful person. So never abuse or disregard your previous employer. You can politely answer this question by saying that there was no growth scope in my previous company that is why I left it.
